2 signature Pearl Jam songs come to ‘Rocksmith’
Pearl Jam junkies, it’s time to make the leap from doing your best Mike McCready impressions to playing the real thing. Two tracks from Pearl Jam are hitting Ubisoft’s Rocksmith today.
I’m going to be upfront about this: I’m a Pearl Jam nut. I own holiday Fan Club singles on vinyl, I ardently traded live bootleg cassettes before the band offered their official bootlegs for sale. I’ve compiled playlists of Pearl Jam’s studio albums, but sequenced with live tracks instead. And songs like “Jeremy” and “Black” defined my teenage years.
It’s those two songs which are coming to Playstation Network and Xbox Live today, for $2.99 each.
Pricing and excitement aside, listen to “Jeremy” and “Black” again and tell me you aren’t also craving the rumored bass support for Rocksmith; both songs from Pearl Jam’s debut album highlight Jeff Ament’s talents admirably.

Hey I might be the only one, but I live in Canada and im not sure if that matters or not but these songs arnt showing up in the PSN store for me…any help?
You know the PSN might be updating later than usual today, since it’s transitioning over to the Sony Entertainment Network. Keep us posted?
We’re on the West Coast and it’s 4:18 p.m. now and we don’t have them in the Rocksmith store or the Playstation Store yet.
Yep, I don’t think the PS Store has updated yet today. I can confirm that it’s available on the Xbox 360 store.
