Megadeth DLC comes to ‘Rocksmith,’ shreds your fingers in December
There is no denying that Ubisoft’s guitar tutor/game Rocksmith has a distinct shortage of heavy metal, but this was an intentional decision, made to avoid overwhelming its target audience: New students of the guitar. But for those of you looking to flex your fingers and give those newfound calluses a beating, three new Megadeth tracks are coming to Rocksmith on December 13.
Following on the heels of today’s newly released “Rock Hits 2″ DLC pack (which includes “Cousins” by Vampire Weekend, “20th Century Boy” by T. Rex and “I Hate Everything About You” by Three Days Grace) is the considerably noisier Megadeth Song Pack. For $2.99 each (or $7.99 for all 3), metalheads will get the chance to learn “Hanger 18,” “Public Enemy No 1″ and “Symphony of Destruction.” The tracks will
Taking Rocksmith’s adaptive difficulty into consideration, it will probably require extreme patience to master the change-ups, fretwork and soloing on “Hangar 18″ especially, but imagine your satisfaction when you finally pull it off.

I like this game it has similar mechanics to the guitar hero/ rock band franchise, but it allows its user to use a teaching method that is familiar to them to learn something outside of gaming.
